VIRKSOMHEDSSKOLEN was established in 1978 and is today one of the largest providers of language courses in Denmark. Virksomhedsskolen is also an industry leader in providing other personal development courses in Denmark such as Presentation Skills, Conflict Management and Cross-Culture & Business Communication. 

Our customised courses and language coaching target the Danish business community and public sector, helping professionals to achieve their communication goals everyday. Each course is tailor-made for our customers through close dialogue and thorough testing to insure maximum skill acquisition and participant satisfaction. Our success as a school is measured by the success of our customers.

BUSINESS AREAS
Virksomhedsskolen focuses on the development of the business community throughout Denmark and abroad in order to keep abreast of these developments and how they may impact language instruction.  

The school consultants are responsible for keeping the school updated on these developments as well as contributing to the professionalism of the school as a whole.


   

Paul Richmond, Area Manager - Finance
As Area Manager - Finance, Paul is responsible for implementing developments in the financial world into the ‘Special Purpose’ courses we develop for our customers in the financial sector.

Background
Paul is educated as an engineer and holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics. He has worked for IBM in England and Amdahl in Denmark. Additionally, Paul is employed as an external lecturer at Copenhagen Business School. 
Paul joined Virksomhedsskolen in 1996.

Kenneth Bengtson, Head Instructor - Swedish

As Virksomhedsskolen’s consultant in Swedish language and culture, it is Kenneth’s task to ensure that we are always up-to-date with new teaching materials and new enterprise in Swedish corporate culture.

Background

Kenneth, educated as a journalist, was born and bred in Sweden. He has been living in Denmark since 1995 and specialises in corporate cultural relations between Denmark and Sweden. 

Kenneth joined Virksomhedsskolen in 1999.

Lone Guldager, Head Instructor – Danish and French
As our consultant in Danish as a foreign language, Lone ensures that Virksomhedsskolen’s courses in Danish as a Foreign Language are always of the same high quality. Lone also ensures that the school maintains focus on new teaching methods and materials, as well as supervising our Danish instructors. 

Background
Lone holds a Master of Arts Degree and throughout her long teaching career she has specialised in teaching Danish to foreigners. In addition to this, Lone teaches French and Italian.

Lone joined Virksomhedsskolen in 1996.

Cornelia Voss, Head Instructor – German
As Virksomhedsskolen’s chief consultant in German, Cornelia incorporates Germany’s present-day political, economic and social situation into her language instruction.  

Background
As a native German holding a PhD in Mathematics and a Masters in German and Mathematics, Cornelia possesses the qualifications that make her one of Virksomhedsskolen's leading instructors.

Christian Planck, MA Managing Director
Christian has a broad spectrum of teaching experience behind him as an English instructor at a considerable number of companies and public institutions. He has taught at Niels Brock and Copenhagen Business School, and was part of the team that created the Export Engineer education at the beginning of the nineties.

Moreover, Christian is the author of a number of textbooks in Danish and English for university and business school students.
Christian coaches the school’s English instructors in the specialist and technical fields of the financial sector.

All our instructors have an academic education in the language they teach, and we employ both native and Danish instructors. 
All applicants are tested and thoroughly evaluated before being assigned courses by Virksomhedsskolen. Furthermore, Virksomhedsskolen ensures that instructors receive regular professional and pedagogical training to help them deliver the best and most comprehensive courses matched to your professional needs.
